Commissioning a painting
The process of commissioning an original piece of art is simple. You talk to Tim about your idea, the medium you prefer and the budget. As soon as we are agreed on these, Tim may work up some preliminary sketches. From those drawings, you will select one that you like, or that is closest to what you like, which may mean incorporating a feature from one sketch into the body of another. From that point onwards, Tim will start work on the commission. The time you have to wait varies from project to project and Tim will try to give you an approximate time about this. Closer to the time of finishing, Tim will contact you about any framing and delivery arrangements.
Gordon & MacPhail Limited Edition Whisky Project
A few of years ago Tim was approached to create a series of four game bird paintings to use for a Limited Edition whisky series by Gordon & MacPhail. Tim produced four painting that were then reproduced as an edition of signed labels numbering 250 of each label. For more details please click here
